Dunna started with a question neither of us could answer easily: why is my skin like this?

For Maria, the answer wasn’t on the surface – it was in her gut and hormonal health. Years of working through her own skin journey and as a health coach taught her that what we put on our skin is only half the story, and that ingredient awareness changes everything once you know what to look for.

For Alix, a certified skin therapist, it started even closer to home. Living with psoriasis taught her early on how much conventional products can aggravate sensitive, reactive skin – and how rare it was to find guidance that actually helped. That experience became her professional calling: helping others find what actually works for their skin, not just what’s marketed to them.

Together, we built Dunna to be the place we wished existed: a curated, clean beauty store backed by real clinical insight, not guesswork.
